FAQ
What is a LiFePO4 battery and why choose the ones from your store?
LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries are an advanced energy storage solution, offering extended life, enhanced safety and better efficiency than conventional lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries. Unlike many competing companies that use Grade B cells , our Dawnice batteries are designed exclusively with Grade A cells , ensuring optimal performance, actual advertised capacity and maximum longevity .
Why is it important that batteries are made with Grade A cells?
Grade A cells are new, tested and certified to ensure maximum capacity, stability and durability . Unlike Grade B or C cells (recycled or defective), they ensure better durability, optimal energy efficiency and uncompromising reliability . This is why our Dawnice batteries offer up to 8000 cycles and enhanced safety.
How long does a LiFePO4 battery last?
LiFePO4 batteries have an exceptional lifespan: they can perform more than 8000 charge/discharge cycles at 80% depth of discharge (DOD). This means a lifespan that can exceed 12 years , much longer than a lead-acid battery (3 to 5 years).
Can multiple LiFePO4 batteries be connected together?
Yes, our Dawnice batteries can be connected in parallel or in series to increase system capacity or voltage. However, it is essential to use identical batteries (same model and state of charge) to avoid imbalance and ensure optimal operation.
Do LiFePO4 batteries require any special maintenance?
No, they are completely maintenance-free . Unlike lead-acid batteries, they do not require frequent recharging to prevent sulfation. Our batteries are equipped with an intelligent BMS (Battery Management System) , which protects against overcharging, deep discharge and extreme temperatures , thus ensuring optimal safety and longevity.
